Emily & Cuauh

On a calm summer, July day, Emily and Cuauh married each other in Emily’s beautiful Kirkland waterfront garden. This is their wedding story:

Wedding Details

Classical music lovers, Emily and Cuauh hosted Seattle’s Concerto String Quartet throughout their wedding day. Meanwhile, Emily’s mother, now retired, loves tending to her garden and created all the floral arrangements for her daughter’s wedding day.

Before the ceremonies were started, Emily and Cuauh went around and greeted their friends and family whom had traveled in to witness their wedding day.

Wedding Ceremony

The garden in Emily’s backyard served as the perfect aisle.

Everyone cracked up when Emily’s mom frantically noticed and unfurled a bee from Emily’s dress. Once the bee was freed, Emily and her dad were all smiles as they continued down the aisle.

Vows and then rings were exchanged.

And Emily and Cuauh were married!

After walking down the aisle, Emily and Cuauh paused just uphill to greet every one of their wedding guests as they made their way to the reception and dinner area.

Traditions and Reception

Once they returned, Emily and Cuauh were joined by their family members to make their marriage official.

They cut their simple and gorgeous wedding cake…

And they received an incredible, personalized cake designed by their family friend.

As she cut into the cake, Emily and Cuauh were surprised as each cut revealed something new hidden inside!

After admiring every surprise in the cake, Emily and Cuauh went around table to table to toast with their wedding guests.

Meanwhile, the children were enjoying the sun parasols and bubbles supplied to guests.

As the sun was setting, the string quartet played one final song as Emily and Cuauh had their first dance together.

Emily and Cuauh praised the string quartet and closed out a wondrous evening.
